✓  Strength Training for over 60's
✓ Management of persistent pain
✓  Return to an active lifestyle
Hi, my name is Chris, I’m a physiotherapist working from the Movement Therapy Clinic in Harborne.  I generally work with people who are experiencing pain, weakness or lack of confidence which holds them back from participating in their desired activities and prevents them from achieving their goals.  If this resonates with you, I will help to guide you back to your desired activities and goals.

I have a particular interest in helping anyone with persistent pain and those with an interest in becoming stronger.  I am passionate about introducing strength training to those in their 50’s-60’s and above. For more information please visit my blog Never Too Old to Lift -
I have been qualified as a physiotherapist for over 10 years, graduating from Coventry University in 2008.  I have worked within sport (including GB Parasnowsport and Reading FC Academy), within several hospital settings and more recently have been working solely within private practices.

I am registered with both the Healthcare and Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP).

FREE Discovery Visit
Are you unsure whether physiotherapy is right for you?

You may be hesitant about booking a physiotherapy assessment for one or more of the following reasons:

- Unsure what physiotherapy involves and if it can help your individual situation.
- Want to get a clearer picture of what is causing your symptoms before making any decisions.
- Don’t know if I am someone you could see yourself working with and want to meet me first.
- Would like to see what the facilities are like before booking.

The discovery visit will be an informal discussion with myself lasting approximately 20 minutes. We can assess whether physiotherapy would be beneficial to you and if so, what a plan would look like going forwards.

You would be under no obligation to go ahead with any further sessions. If I think physiotherapy isn’t something that can help your symptoms, then I can point you in the right direction of what to do/who to see instead.

The discovery visit can take place in the clinic or alternatively can be carried out via an online video appointment.

Please note that the discovery visit does not include any treatment. It is simply a discussion to determine whether physiotherapy is the best course of action for you.
