Exercise Therapist Pathway

Want to expand on your soft tissue skills?

At Movement Therapy Education, we have observed an evolution in necessary skill sets over the past decade. Traditionally, Sports therapy, Osteopathy, Chiropractic and some Physiotherapy courses have heavily emphasised soft tissue/manipulative techniques and electrotherapy as their primary focus for MSK problems.

While these skills remain valuable, there has been growing scrutiny of their effectiveness for achieving long-term solutions for clients. In light of this, therapists must transition from a primarily passive approach to one that prioritises:

Movement

Self-assurance

Collaboration

These are essential components for aiding clients in their journey toward improvement.

The Exercise Therapist pathway comprises specific modules within the comprehensive Movement Therapy Diploma, with a specialised emphasis on exercise as the primary intervention to empower clients in regaining control of their physical well-being and overall quality of life.

This is a combined course. Movement Therapy Education has specific modules relating to Therapists and Apex Fitness Education cover all the modules related to the Level 3 Personal Training Qualification.
